China's agent in the United Kingdom, Liu Xiaoming's Twitter account demonstrated a 'like' for an explicit post for over an hour on Wednesday.

It caused a gigantic furor online with a few clients leaving remarks and responses on the video before it was pulled down.

Giving an announcement, the Chinese an international safe haven in the UK said that the Ambassador's Twitter account was hacked by hostile to China components with malignant goals.

"Some enemy of China components violently assaulted Ambassador Liu Xiaoming's Twitter account and utilized abhorrent techniques to hoodwink general society," said an announcement on the government office's site read.

Further, it said that the issue has been accounted for to Twitter and the web-based media goliath has been approached to take the issue "genuinely" and make examine the issue completely.

Liu's Twitter account has more than 85,000 devotees. He is one of China's most straightforward representatives, who regularly gives forceful meetings to protect Beijing's activities and arrangements.
